Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel Reopens After Stunning Renovation

Carly Faghy • June 23, 2026

If you’ve been to Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel before, you’ll already know how special it is. And if it’s been on your list for a while, now might be the perfect time to go.

The hotel officially reopened on 2nd May 2026 after a six-month refurbishment, and one of our team (Carly from head office) was lucky enough to spend a week there straight after reopening to see what’s changed. It’s always really important that our agents know hotels inside and out, so that you can trust they know what they are talking about when they make recommendations for your holiday.

First Impressions: A Smoother Arrival

The first thing Carly noticed was how much more relaxed the arrival experience feels.

There’s now a dedicated VIP check-in lounge, guests are welcomed into a quiet space with a glass of champagne while everything is taken care of. It’s a small change, but it really sets the tone for the rest of the stay.

The New Suites: Worth the Upgrade

Carly stayed in one of the brand new Deluxe Superior One Bedroom Sea View Suites on the newly added fifth floor — and these are definitely worth knowing about if you’re booking.

You’ve got uninterrupted sea views, loads of space, and a proper separation between the bedroom and lounge, which makes a big difference if you’re staying for more than a few nights.

The bathrooms are finished in marble and come with both a bathtub and a walk-in rainfall shower, and all the little extras you’d expect are there too — coffee machine, smart TV, quality toiletries, and a few VIP touches like late check-out where available.

Did You Know?

We have early bookings offers for Summer 2027 – book now and up to 28th February 2027 for a 20% hotel discount with savings of over £400 per couple.

Rooftop Drinks & Easy Evenings

One of the biggest additions is St Andrew’s Rooftop Bar, and it’s exactly what the hotel was missing.

It’s got panoramic views over the coastline and is the kind of place you’ll naturally end up at sunset without really planning to. The atmosphere is relaxed rather than formal, which suits the hotel perfectly.

There are still plenty of other spots to mix things up depending on your mood:

  • The Garden Bar is ideal for daytime drinks and light lunches
  • The VIP Bar feels a bit more tucked away and great for cocktails
  • The Lounge Bar hosts live music on selected evenings without it ever feeling over the top
  • And there’s even a Sports Bar if you fancy something more low-key

Food & Drink: Plenty of Choice

Food is a big part of the experience here, and you’re definitely not short of options.

Estia, the main buffet restaurant, is where you’ll have breakfast and plenty of evening meals if you choose to. It’s one of the better buffets we’ve seen — lots of variety, fresh cooking stations, and (importantly) really good desserts. You can sit inside or out, which is always a bonus.

Kymata is the seafront restaurant and probably one of the nicest spots in the hotel. It’s a bit more laid back during the day, then in the evening it turns into a lovely setting for Mediterranean dishes right by the water.

There’s also an à la carte restaurant for something a bit more special. Carly went for seafood to start and steak for the main, and said it was one of the best meals of the trip.

There’s usually some light entertainment in the evenings too — think singers and musicians rather than anything too lively — which just adds to the atmosphere without taking over.

A variety of board basis areavailable from B&B, Half Board, and the very popular Deluxe package All Inclusive with unlimited access to all the restaurants and bars and a stocked mini bar.

Pool, Spa & Slowing Down

The pool area is one of those places that just works, whether you’re there during the day or in the evening.

During the day it’s calm, spacious, and never feels cramped — the sunbeds are well spaced out so you’re not on top of other guests. In the evening, with the lighting and candles, it’s got a completely different feel.

You’ve also got:

  • Direct access to a sandy beach with service
  • A large outdoor pool and indoor pool
  • A fully equipped gym
  • The Elixir Spa
  • An on-site salon for a quick refresh before dinner

Everything’s geared towards helping you properly switch off.

Is It Worth It?

In short — yes, especially if you’re looking for a quieter, more elegant adults-only hotel in Cyprus.

The renovation hasn’t changed what people already loved about Asimina Suites. It’s just made everything feel a bit more considered and up to date.

It’s ideal for couples, special occasions, or anyone who just wants a week of good food, nice surroundings, and zero stress. Its perfect for those looking for a slower, quieter pace to their holiday

Roses are red, violets are blue, no matter what you're looking for, we have a holiday for you.... We had to put a cheesy line in here somewhere… But, we often fall into the trap of a ‘classic romance.’ Don’t get us wrong some of us are secret cringy romantics at heart. But here’s the thing: romance is subjective. For some, it’s the adrenaline of a sunrise hike in Iceland; for others, it’s the total seclusion of a Bora Bora lagoon or the "main character energy" of walking through New York City. Whether you are planning a Valentine’s Day trip, a long-overdue anniversary escape, or maybe the perfect proposal spot… we’ve curated a list of the best romantic holiday destinations for 2026.

2026 is all about those "pinch-me" moments. It’s about finally booking those tickets, packing the bag, and doing that one trip that’s been on your bucket list for years. But the best bit? Everyone’s dream looks different. For some, their dream destination looks like white-washed sands and an overwater villa, Or maybe it’s, backpack on, trekking up a mountain just to catch that first glimpse of the view. Some crave the buzz of a city that never sleeps, or the silence of a wide-open road. Whatever your dream destination is, we’re here to help you turn that daydream into a reality. To give you some serious inspo, we sat down with our travel agents to see which dreams they’re chasing this year.

In our quest to see more of the world, we’ve accidentally stopped actually looking at it. We’ve all become experts at the "hop", that disorienting leap from an airport lounge in one city to a taxi rank in another. We’ve been conditioned to think that the faster we get somewhere, the more "holiday" we have. We wake up at 3:00 AM, navigate the fluorescent-lit chaos of airport security, and spend hours in a cramped seat just to "save time." But by the time we actually hit the beach or the mountains, we’re so frazzled we spend the first two days just trying to remember how to relax! What if the travel itself became the experience? Imagine exploring the whole of Italy or the Canadian Rockies stress-free—no maps, no city traffic, and no white-knuckling the steering wheel thinking, "I need a holiday to recover from this holiday." Here’s why rail is, quite possibly, the most rewarding way to see the planet:
