Holidays to the Balearics

The Balearics are located between mainland Spain and the coast of North Africa. The three main Balearic islands of Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza are the perennial favourites of UK and European holidaymakers. They offer glorious beaches, great weather, fine cuisine and a rich cultural history.

Majorca is the largest of the Balearics and one of Europe's top holiday destinations attracting over six million visitors a year. Majorca is an island of huge contrasts with busy holiday resorts in the south west and spectacular unspoilt mountains and traditional villages to the north.

Menorca is tranquil and unspoilt and the most easterly of the Balearic Islands, offering a more laid back experience and is especially popular with families. Menorca offers miles of uncrowded beaches, pretty fishing villages and historic towns.

Ibiza is without doubt the party capital of Europe attracting a younger crowd to its huge range of nightclubs. It also attracts some older couples and families to its less lively resorts.
