For those in search of a more relaxing Gran Canaria holiday, the smaller resorts can offer a slower pace, such as San Agustin and Playa del Cura.. The bustling capital Las Palmas with its’ extensive duty free shopping, traditional restaurants and original architecture, makes an interesting day trip and offers visitors a taste of the real Gran Canaria.
